Lata Shastri is the Operations Head for Med-Share Inc the largest private mobile diagnostic company providing services in SE Michigan. At Med-Share Latamanagesplanning, scheduling and executing diagnostic services to physician offices and hospitals. Lata is also responsible for management of electronic medical records and transcription processes in her organization. Lata is an honors graduate student from University of Bombay, India in the field of Law and Science, she also has an Associate Degree from Carnegie Institute in CardioVascular studies.
Lata is the President of Soroptimist International Wyandotte club. Soroptimist International is a global volunteer organization engaged in improving the lives of women and girls through social and economic empowerment. Lata is a delegate of the Soroptimist delegation to the UN for the CSW (commission on Status of women) forum. Lata has also volunteered with Mai Family Services -the only South Asian organization striving to help individuals and families in crisis. She is involved with event management, outreach and fundraising activities for many of Mai Family service activities and events.
