Dr. Sai Praveen Haranath is a critical care medicine and pulmonology specialist. Over 15 years in America he specialized in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine and is American Board Certified in these fields.
He is part of India's pioneering TeleICU programs and has over 5000 hours of telemonitoringexperience. As an expert in his field his vision is to make Apollo eAccessTeleICU services the best in the world.
Dr Sai Praveen Haranath is a physician working at Apollo Hospitals and is also part of one of the first Tele ICU programs in India. He is trained in critical care medicine,advanced pulmonary medicine, bronchoscopy, endobronchial ultrasound and pleural procedures. He did his MBBS at Madras Medical College and then went to the United States.He was trained at the University of Connecticut, Loyola University and Oregon Health and Science University. He also obtained a Masters in Public Health degree. He is a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians and is a ex-officio member of the steering committee of the Disaster Response Network and member of the steering committee of the Occupational and Environmental Diseases Network of this global organization. In addition from October he is one of the global governors of this organization and also on their membership committee.
He returned to India to pursue his lifelong desire to raise the standard of Indian and global healthcare through the ethical practice of excellent medicine . He is a firm believer that we have the ingredients to create a superlative health experience for this country and beyond .He has vast experience in managing patients with asthma , COPD, bronchitis, allergic lung disease as well as lung cancer and tobacco and smoking addiction.
