Currently, Ms. Chamarthi is the Chief Digital Officer of ZF Friedrichshafen AG and Global CIO of ZF TRW. Ms. Chamarthi’s role as Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Consumer Energy is a clear testament to her strengths as an executive leader. As the company’s first CIO, she was challenged with invigorating and reinventing multiple aspects of the technology organization. Most notably, she evangelized and led a multi-year technology and business roadmap that transformed the company from a commodity provider to a customer value driver, delivering next-generation technologies that revolutionized business performance.
This role underscored Ms. Chamarthi’s strength as a skilled collaborator internally and externally. For example, she founded an employee development initiative (EDSI) in collaboration with the Governor of the State of Michigan and other strategic partners, and serves as an active leader on several Boards of technology-related nonprofit organizations.
Ms. Chamarthi offers strong credentials with two M.B.A. degrees, a Master’s in Computer Science, and a Master’s Certificate in Project Management.
