Lingjia Tang is a professor of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Michigan. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Virginia in 2012 and her research focuses on computer architecture, compiler and runtime systems, especially such systems for large scale datacenters. Recently, her publications on optimizing datacenter infrastructures are reported in Wired, The Registers and ACM tech news. In addition, her recent publications on scalable datacenter systems have been selected as one of the excellence papers 2011 by Research at Google.
