Kevin Mayes is currently CEO of PrescriptIQ, a software startup helping physicians make better prescribing decisions utilizing a person’s unique genetic code. Kevin was co-founder and SVP of Product at Care Team Connect, a Chicago-based software company that built one of the first online platforms to support care coordination, which was acquired by The Advisory Board Company in 2009. He then served as Managing Director of Population Health in Austin at The Advisory Board.
Previous to his work in healthcare IT, Kevin led global web strategy for Aon Corporation; consulted with a handful of Fortune 500 companies while at Macquarium, a user experience design and technology firm; and was the founding Artistic and Executive Director of Bailiwick Chicago, a professional theater company based in Chicago. Kevin has utilized his experience and passion for product management, user experience design, and solution-based sales in all of his commercial and not-for-profit roles. Kevin received his BA from Yale University.
