Bhushan has all the qualities of a business leader – persistence, innovation, hard work and resilience. An accomplished serial entrepreneur who has run four successful technology startups—Quantum, InTouch, GDI Infotech and InfoReady Corporation, Bhushan has been involved in providing solutions for the Information Management and Integration space for over 20 years. He is CEO of two Ann Arbor area companies – GDI Infotech and InfoReady Corporation.

GDI is well-established, award-winning company that provides Information Technology Consulting services since its inception in 1993. GDI has been named to Inc 500 List of Fastest Growing Private Companies, Michigan Private 100 List and has been recognized as Future 50 of Metro Detroit area.

His latest start-up, InfoReady Corporation was incubated at GDI and builds products for team collaboration to facilitate action on information at the point of contact. Bhushan started his new venture InfoReady Corp in 2010. He believes that working with software should be no more difficult than using social media or shopping sites. He has made it possible through InfoReady.

InfoReady has built software to turn information in to action. InfoReady’s Review product streamlines application creation and vetting process. TalentSuite products proactively and automatically match talent to open positions. InfoReady platform solutions allow people to FIND specific information quickly and ACT on it instantaneously at the point of contact and TRACK all activity to get immediate results. InfoReady has been recognized as Washtenaw FastTrack Company and is one of the 50 Companies to Watch in Michigan.

Bhushan Kulkarni won the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2001. He has been named “Volunteer Leader of the Year” in 2013 by Ann Arbor SPARK. He was named Business Person of the year by Ann Arbor-Ypsilanti Chamber of Commerce in 2014. Bhushan has also won Crain’s Detroit Business “40 Under 40″ Award, and in 2002, he won Crain’s “American Dreamer Award”. He has also been named in the “Who’s Who in Technology Services”.

Bhushan strongly believes in giving back to his community. He is involved in several mainstream non-profit organizations in Ann Arbor area. Bhushan is the most recent pastchairman of the board at Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation. This was during one of the most active periods in the AAACF ‘s history. AAACF celebrated its 50th anniversary, successfully executed Match Day and most recently, carried out search for a new CEO – all under Bhushan’s chairmanship.

At Ann Arbor SPARK, Bhushan has served on the board for past several years and now heads the Foreign Direct Investment Committee. This committee is most involved in bringing the much-needed foreign investments to Ann Arbor region and has brought several well-publicized, international companies to Ann Arbor.

Bhushan has served on the Ann Arbor Area Chamber of Commerce board for many years including his tenure as Chairman of the Board during 2005-06 timeframe.

Bhushan is a major supporter of the business community in southeast Michigan through his involvement in organizations and is a mentor to young entrepreneurs.

Bhushan is also one of the founding members of the Ann Arbor Marathi Mandal (A2MM) in 2006. A2MM is a non-profit organization established to enhance, nurture and promote our Maharashtrian Culture and values through festivals cultural events, musical performances and dramas.
