Ansgar Strother

Ansgar Strother began working on startups while pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering at the University of Michigan. After graduating in December of 2013, Ansgar turned down a full-time offer from Microsoft to build A2B Bikeshare, which created a low- cost bikesharing technology. These efforts led to the raising of a pre-seed round, a major partnership with Republic Bikes and the sale of its IP in 2016. A2B Bikeshare was also the recipient of two major awards, including the Michigan MobiPrize 2014 and NEF business model of the year 2015. Through these experiences he saw the need for a mobility integrator, which led to the founding of Movatic in 2016.
