Tom brings with him over 25 years of proven and progressive technical and business management experience in the software development arena. Tom has led software development teams in projects extending over multiple departments, business processes and computing platforms within budgetary boundaries of such projects. Tom arose out of the Computer Science programs at the University of Michigan and the Ohio Institute of Technology to be involved in the design, architecture and development of software in the Relational Database and Data Security / Encryption space as well as various customized products.

His industry experience includes: Healthcare, Manufacturing, Retail, Pharmaceuticals, Automotive, Financial, Education, Marketing and Government. Mr. Murphy has led worldwide implementation and services teams to deliver solutions to some of the largest companies in these industries. Most recently he was a management consultant for DPM Consulting Services, Inc. at a multi-billion dollar Ad and Print Agency. Currently at Diplomat Specialty Pharmacy, Mr. Murphy oversees the Software Development area that is accountable for architecture, design, development and implementation of industry recognized product lines of eNav, InfoNav, dataNav and also transforming these products into a SOA approach to prepare them for the Cloud computing model and SAAS distribution model.

Tom also serves as a Board member for The Charter Township of Brighton, SELCRA (Adjunct) and Michigan Technology Network – Livingston and is involved with business incubation for technology companies in the Livingston County Michigan area.
