Roger Lanctot, Automotive Consultant, has 20-plus years of experience in the technology industry as an industry analyst, journalist and consultant. Before joining Strategy Analytics, Mr. Lanctot was director of business development at iSuppli Corporation, which acquired Telematics Research Group in July of 2008. He also directed sales and business development for TRG for five years prior to the acquisition, focusing on aftermarket and portable device segments in the emerging telematics market. Prior to TRG he directed research and business development at NPD.

Mr. Lanctot was Research Editor for Computer Retail Week, and also had editorial positions at Fairchild Publication’s HFN and Hearst Business Communications’ Office World News. In addition, he held research positions with other media companies.
