He also has significant background in automotive electronics systems engineering and integration. Notable products that he has been involved with include My Ford Touch Driver Connect Technology Platform enabled by Sync, satellite radio, voice enabled GPS navigation, driver information, HVAC control system, electronic powered steering, safety, tire pressure monitoring & driver assistance features. He led engineering teams in evaluation & preparation of new electrical features and technologies for introduction into motor vehicles. This includes competitive benchmarking, technical evaluations, and supplier technology assessment - all across a wide variety of electrical products. Mr. Talukder has profound knowledge on the state of current technology / pricing as well as future trends in Infotainment electronics, analog / digital semiconductors, LCD technology, sensors & controls, graphics, connectivity & consumer expectations. He led cross-functional teams in developing mega cost saving projects that generated several hundred millions of dollars in lifetime cost saving.
