Sanjay Kumar is the Director of Service Management at Accenture responsible for defining strategies, global architecture and standards across Accenture's global delivery network. He works with clients to help them achieve value from their IT investments, drives improvements in services and reduction in cost.
Sanjay has over twenty years of experience in the IT industry working with several clients in the automotive, manufacturing, financial, government and telecom industries. His experience ranges from applications development and management including delivering large complex systems developed at centers across the globe. He has managed infrastructure operations, deployed large complex networks and established service management practices for several global clients.
Prior to joining Accenture in 2006, Sanjay established operations in Brazil and Malaysia for large IT Services Company to help implement its global strategies to drive competitive growth. Due to his efforts, the company reestablished its position in global infrastructure management utilizing low cost locations across the world.
Sanjay has a bachelor's degree in engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi and a MBA from Michigan State University.
Sanjay is active in the community supporting organizations such as the Jason Foundation, the Jason Expeditions and the Science and Engineering Fair of Metro Detroit. He is also on the board for the local IT Service Management (itSMF) chapter. |
