Anil Menawat is the creator of Profit Mapping—a set of methods and tools for quantifying and connecting operational and financial actions to the business goals. He founded Menawat & Co. with operations in North America and Europe to help new business startups and on-going concerns with operational planning and productivity enhancements.

Anil has over 25 years of experience in manufacturing, process, pharmaceutical, software and consulting industries. As a champion of integrated process and financial analytics he has helped companies develop business and operating strategies, and reduce operating cost. Anil was Senior Manager–Advanced Manufacturing Technology and New Business Development at Aeroquip Corp. where he played a key role in creating new businesses and a new division for Advanced Computer Technologies. Prior to that, Anil was an Assistant Professor at Tulane University; Visiting Professor & Consultant at Abbott Labs; and Process Design Engineer at Union Carbide.

Anil was profiled by Business Week magazine in 1994 for his pioneering work on nonlinear systems theory and is listed in Who’s Who in Science and Engineering. He is the author of a book titled Profit Mapping (McGraw Hill, 2006) and has published over 25 articles in scientific and trade journals. He is an invited speaker and panelist on manufacturing systems, business startups and operational cost containment. He has chaired several national and international symposiums and conferences, and has served on National Science Foundation technology panel. He received “Crain’s 2007 American Dreamer”, a “Great Job” (Aeroquip Corp.) and two outstanding teaching awards (Tulane University). Anil earned a Ph.D. in Systems Theory in 1986, and MS and BS in 1982 and 1978 respectively.
