Linda Fingerle has served as Chief Financial Officer and Principal of EDF Ventures since 2007 where she is responsible for the firm’s financial monitoring and reporting and, as a Principal, has oversight over select portfolio companies. She also manages the relationships with the firm’s limited partners, and oversees the firm’s IT and administrative services.

Linda is a CPA and brings more than 20 years of experience in business and finance to the EDF Team. Prior to joining the EDF Team, she was a Group Operating President for MascoTech, Inc., a Michigan based industrial manufacturing corporation performing a wide variety of mergers and acquisition and operational activity. Linda served on the Board and Audit Committee Chair for Aastrom Biosciences, Inc. (NASDAQ: ASTM) a Michigan based biotech company and provided financial consulting to an Ann Arbor based biotech start-up that reached a successful exit in 2009.

Previously Linda was a Senior Audit Manager at Arthur Andersen & Co., where she worked with clients in a wide variety of industries, both public and private, in an audit capacity as well as performing due diligence for financings and acquisitions.

Linda is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She earned a BS from Michigan State University and CPA from the State of Michigan.

Currently, Linda oversees the following companies as a non-contractual (n/c) board observer:
Alfalight, proprietary high power, high efficiency packaged diode laser and laser bar products for telecommunications, medical, military and advanced industrial applications;
Arbor Networks, network anomaly detection solutions for companies that run large, complex, mission-critical networks;
The Echo Group, a software solution addressing the information management;
Rhevision, tunable lens systems for miniature and mobile imaging systems;
TherOx, a developer of therapeutic, oxygen-enriched solutions and delivery systems for heart attack patients; and
Xtera Communications, cost-effective optical networking transport solutions for regional, long-haul and ultra long-haul telecommunication networks.
