Dennis is the founder of the Great Lakes Investment Fund, a Private Equity fund located in Metro Detroit that is focused on buying multi-family commercial investment real estate in the Metro Detroit area. At present the Fund owns or controls over $3 million in investment real estate including a portfolio of single family homes and two apartment properties totaling 54 units. A purchase of another apartment property with 57 units is in process.

Dennis is a published author of a book on single family real estate investing and has two other books in process – one on buying apartment buildings and another on his unique and successful approach of acquiring Private Investors to fund and otherwise participate in real estate deals. He also teaches seminars on the location, acquisition, and management of cash flow real estate, and he coaches and consults on an individual basis as well. He specializes in helping first time apartment buyers make their first purchase.

He earned an MBA with a concentration in finance from the University of Southern California in 1992 and has over twenty years of broad-based experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Business Operations, and Information Technology, in addition to his experience in Real Estate investing.

He is also active in the community. He has been a member of the Financial Advisory Board at St Regis Catholic Church in Bloomfield Hills for six years and presently serves as its Chairman, and he recently completed a three year term as Vice Chairman of the Financial Advisory Board for the Village of Beverly Hills, Michigan.

On a personal note, he has been married for 19 years to his wife Marily, who he met at grad school at USC. Together they have four children - Victoria, Catherine, Dennis David, and Anika Grace. In his spare time he is an avid ice and roller hockey player during the winter and golfer during the summer.
