David Weaver, joined the Pittsburgh Life Sciences Greenhouse (www.plsg.com), in 2007 as an Executive-in-Residence and returned to Michigan late last year after help fund and bringing a number of medical companies to the Pittsburgh area. He has over thirty years diversified management experience, which includes: global profit/loss responsibility (Codman, Division of J&J), turning around troubled business operations (Division of Warner-Lambert), former Director of International Business for Desert Medical, former VP of Sales & Marketing of a start-up, Somanetics Corp. (SMTS) with the first Cerebral Oximeter in market (a noninvasive patient monitoring system for blood oxygen levels in the brain).
He is President of Aimattech Consulting LLC, who’s consulting practice was founded in 1985, (http://www.aimattech.com). As a senior consultant, he transitioned Physiometrix, involved with brain activity monitoring into the “depth of anesthesia” market place. Mr. Weaver has written numerous Business Plans and consults to companies in various industries. He has helped raise private (angel), venture (VC) and public (IPO) capital of over $30 million.
