Mr. Anand Gangadharan is the President and founder of NOVI Energy. Mr. Gangadharan has nurtured NOVI Energy from its inception in year 2002 into an organization with sustained growth while maintaining integrity and quality of work.
Through his leadership, NOVI Energy has achieved recognition within the energy industry with customers in the industrial, commercial and utility sectors. Mr. Gangadharan was instrumental in establishing long standing relationships between NOVI Energy and U.S.Department of Energy, U.S. Department of Defense, U.S. National Laboratories, electricity boards and utilities of various countries and International Finance Corporation, the private sector arm of the World Bank.
At NOVI Energy, Mr. Gangadharan continues to provide guidance and leads various development efforts that range from traditional power generation facilities, renewable energy projects, central utility plants, district heating and cooling projects and microgrids to customized state of the art energy technology applications.
Prior to starting NOVI Energy, Mr. Gangadharan was leading the New Technology Division of CMS Enterprises Company the competitive arm of CMS Energy Corporation, an integrated gas and electric energy company with annual sales of $13 billion and assets of $16 billion throughout the U.S. and in selected foreign markets. During that time (1999-2002),
Mr. Gangadharan successfully launched two new companies for CMS Enterprises; CMS Micro Power Systems, LLC and CMS Distributed Power LLC.
In 1998, Mr. Gangadharan joined PacifiCorp Development Company, where he had management responsibility for Technology Assessment. He was later promoted to the position of Director of Corporate Projects for PacifiCorp where he gained recognition for leading the Business Systems Integration efforts to optimize business processes and build enterprise wide common infrastructure. During that time Mr. Gangadharan had single point
responsibility for a 470 person, $160 million effort.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Gangadharan held engineering and management positions with increasing responsibility in the area of Project Management while working for Consumers Energy in Michigan. Mr. Gangadharan worked for Consumers Energy from 1990 through1998.
Mr. Gangadharan holds a Master of Science degree in Nuclear Engineering from Texas A&M University and Master of Science degree in Physics from University of Madras in India. During his professional career, Mr. Gangadharan has authored and presented several papers at national and international forums.
